Geisinger System Services ETL Developer-- Senior in Danville, Pennsylvania
As part of the Data Management Department, participate in the development and maintenance of processes that move data from operational systems to a Data Warehouse. Design, code, test, and deploy production in support of the workflow. Configure, tune, implementing processes; perform unit testing and troubleshooting. Integrate ETL tools with applications, web services, and/or data transport utilities. Responsible for ingesting raw data onto analytics platforms with potentially transforming it using business rules. Develop highly complex code for data movement, data transformation, data quality, data cleansing, and other ETL-related activities. Identify, document, and track all related performance problems. Assist in evaluating, recommending, and implementing tools and methods to automate administration processes. Analyze and identify trends in performance metrics. Design, monitor, and analyze performance metrics programs for performance, tuning, and monitoring initiatives. Position allows for 100% remote work.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), or a related field plus 6 years of experience in data warehousing (DW), structured Query language, and Informatica ETL Tool. Position allows for 100% remote work.
