Geisinger Operations Coordinator-Spiritual Care - Full Time/ Days in Danville, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Provides dedicated operational support to the team. Works in collaboration with the operations team to develop, implement, and maintain operational standards.

Job Duties

  • Accountable for management, leadership and supervision of assigned areas.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of strategic, tactical, operational and business plans as assigned.

  • Provides secondary support in the development of business plans.

  • Participates on teams designed to improve care with identified patient populations upon request.

  • Provides support and supervision for staff.

  • Troubleshoots and responds to work flow issues.

  • Assists in facilitating active engagement and communication with department staff via formal meetings and informal interactions.

  • Assists in handling employee relations activities.

  • Assists with performance management and recruitment activities for assigned staff.

  • Assists in maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

  • Assists in facilitating appropriate individual and staff performance recognition in an effort to maintain a positive and motivational work environment.

  • Actively participates in resolving employee problems and conflicts.

  • Monitors ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Establishes and updates procedure manuals.

  • Maintains continuing and consistent Performance Improvement evaluation program within the department.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
