ManpowerGroup Staff Accountant in Darien, Georgia
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant provides accounting and financial analysis and support to the accounts payable, general accounting, and cost accounting functions. Scope includes preparing financial statements and coordinating audits.
Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Brunswick, GA 31520
Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000/yr. PLUS 10% bonus
Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire
Schedule: Mon-Fri
What’s the Job?
Prepare and maintain accounting entries, financial registers, and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Assist in the monthly closing process and compilation of financial statements and quarterly reports
Perform monthly bank settlements and provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions
Conduct quarterly internal audits, coordinate JSOX audits, and support annual audit processes with documentation and liaison activities
Maintain and back up accounts payable and expense reporting software, providing departmental support and answering related financial queries
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
1-2 years of accounting experience
Proficient with computer systems and MS Office applications; ERP systems experience preferred
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
