Responsibilities Machine Maintenance Tech I Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Tech I will be responsible for entry level building and ground repairs and minor equipment installation and repairs. Essential Job Functions
- Plan and perform work relating to repair of buildings and grounds
- Recommend improvements and changes for increased quality or efficiency
- Perform preventative maintenance per schedule
- Back up the janitor role
- Work independently on projects of moderate complexity
- Enters production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
- Accurately records and reports hours worked
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
- Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
- Participate in required company meetings
- Maintain an organized work area (5S)
- Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
- Complete all other work duties as assigned
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)
- 1 year of experience in a related field
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes
- Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetings
- Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
