Duties & Responsibilities:

Pay strict attention to detail
Execute jobs and maintain security software
Assists with software applications (troubleshooting, website access, software access) to resolve problems
Develops and documents procedures to efficiently resolve common problems
Provide technical help in person and over the phone
Provide documentation of problems encountered, solution to problem and assist other technicians in problem resolution
Interpret error messages and provide assistance when problems occur
Manage and complete projects assigned
Ensures compliance with software licensing agreements by maintaining and accurate and up-to-date tracking of software purchases, license keys and installations.
Conduct in-service training for support staff
Write and maintain documentation for current processes
Install and test software as needed and assist in the training associated with the software
Work on all technology equipment in the DCSD (computers, chromebooks, scanners, etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned

Special Qualification Desired:

3-5 years experience in a technology environment
Able to communicate effectively and have Good interpersonal skills
Must be accurate, efficient and detail oriented
Ability to analyze and prioritize
Possess training skills and be able to present to and train staff and others, one on one and in groups
Ability to learn new equipment, tools, technology and software quickly
Good attendance and reliability
Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure
Team player
Proficient in multitasking
Demonstrated troubleshooting, follow-through, and critical thinking skills
