Do you have a passion for environmental remediation and a knack for leading impactful change? We're looking for an experienced Corporate Environmental Remediation Manager to spearhead our efforts in enhancing the environment every day. This is a new position on the Enterprise EHS Management Team reporting to the Director, Global Remediation and EHS Due Diligence. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovative environmental remediation strategies while ensuring compliance with regulations at our legacy remediation sites. The position will also be a critical member of the due diligence and transactional team to minimize long-term liabilities through the review of real estate transactions and business acquisition and divestment activity.

Where is the work:
This is a Remote position.
Responsibilities:
Support the administration and implementation of the Company’s Global remediation program, providing strategic input on continuous improvement efforts initiated by the Remediation Director, adding value to these initiatives through remediation expertise.
Responsible for specific remediation projects to maintain compliance, develop and implement cost-effective remediation strategies, optimize existing remediation systems, and ensure overall contractor performance.
Provide financial input to remediation reserve reviews and manage remediation budgets, purchase orders, and invoice payments
Evaluate existing long-term remedial strategies to identify potential cost savings
Represent the company with third parties and regulators to maintain compliance with remediation obligations and advance the site toward closure.
Conduct EHS due diligence in support of business acquisition and divestment activity and routine real estate transactions
Manage the decommissioning and demolition of former manufacturing facilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or closely related environmental field
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing multiple site investigation and remediation projects for large corporations, preferably in the manufacturing sector
Experience managing external teams of engineers, consultants, and lawyers to support the implementation of multiple remediation projects
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Knowledge of relevant national, state, and local environmental regulations, legislation, and policies/management initiatives
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience as a Corporate remediation manager in the manufacturing sector or supporting remediation projects as a consultant working for a Corporate remediation manager in the manufacturing sector
Master’s degree in a related field and/or Professional Engineer’s license
Global remediation management experience
Experience with remediation program management systems such as RPMS or ENFOS
Experience managing remediation projects in the Northeastern United States (NJ, NY, and CT)
Experience with chlorinated solvent sites and vapor intrusion
Experience managing and interpreting Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental site assessments
Ability to travel 15%
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, or geographic location where the work is performed.
