BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Conducts more complex quality engineering tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Performs automated and manual test case development and execution.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies and work with onshore/offshore Agile QE and SCRUM Teams in an enterprise environment and represent QE Team

  • Author, update and execute end to end functional, automated and performance test cases, test scenarios, using Tricentis qTest, TOSCA, NeoLoad and change impact analysis tools

  • Ensure seamless traceability between qTest test cases, TOSCA test scripts and Jira user stories, epics, and defects

  • Create qTest, Jira dashboards to show the project health.

  • Perform standalone and integration testing with internal IT applications

  • Identify application issues during testing and work with project team and internal IT staff to determine resolutions

  • Draft and revise advanced testing documentation (including test plans, test scenarios, test cases) and execute tests per established schedule and plan

  • Create test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test application logic and verify system flow standalone and integrated with other internal IT applications.

  • Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality engineering strategies

  • Coach and mentor less-experienced quality engineers as needed

  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose

  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study.

  • Six years of previous experience is required. Additional years of related experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.

    SKILLS (REQUIRED):

  • 6+ Years of hands-on experience with testing various web, cloud and mobile eCommerce, Warehouse, CRM, HR, Finance applications (eCommerce, AS/400, SAP Successfactors, SFDC, SAP S4/HANA)

  • Hands on experience with Agile, DevOps software development methodologies, quality engineering, system design, analysis, and troubleshooting

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multiple projects

  • Understands project risk, particularly from a quality perspective.

    SKILLS (OTHER SKILLS CONTRIBUE TO SUCCESS):

  • Ariba (P2P), eCommerce (B2C, B2B), Warehouse (Pick, Pack, Ship), AS/400, Sales Force Platform knowledge and experience

  • Data Testing and analytics skills

  • Mongo DB, GCP, Query tools, and SQL

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.

  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).

    Compensation starting at $73430 - $115390 depending on experience.

    The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
