Dayton Children's Hospital Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as Program Director of Inpatient Services in Dayton, Ohio

Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:PsychiatrySchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:Dayton Children’s Hospital, in Dayton Ohio, is currently recruiting a program director for our adolescent psychiatry behavioral health unit and consult service. This is a full time, employed position with competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years post-fellowship experience and be board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The successful candidate must possess outstanding clinical, communication and educational skills.

Department Specific Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

●Help develop and direct the behavioral health unit and grow our proactive psychiatry service.

●Provide initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management in consult and inpatient setting.

●Supervise psychiatric residents and child psychiatry fellows from Wright State University

●Provide weekend coverage to inpatient psychiatric unit: every 6-8 weeks.

●Provide night call for psychiatric service 3-5 nights per month
