Radiance Technologies, Inc. Foreign Threat Electronic Warfare Engineer in DAYTON, Ohio

Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated engineer or scientist to serve as an Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer creating detailed EW assessments and production related to the capabilities, dependencies, and vulnerabilities of foreign Air Systems; Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS); Air Ordnance and Cruise Missiles; and Air and Missile Defense Surveillance Systems. The candidate will work on an analysis team and use all-source intelligence data to determine the EW characteristics (hardware and software) associated with a threat system. The candidate is expected to assess system associated behaviors, operations, subsystems, and components, including the development of hardware system block diagrams. The overall assessment is expected to be consistent with foreign design philosophy and the available intelligence data.

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with modern radar, antenna, and EW system theory.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Attack (EA) techniques and mitigations; and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) techniques.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with RF experts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily understood terms.
  • Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills

     

Required Experience:

  • Three or more years of experience with designing and implementing EW techniques or the analysis of foreign EW techniques.

     

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Foreign weapon system analysis experience.
  • Experience with radar or EW signal generation techniques and performance analysis tools or models (MATLAB or Python).
  • Understanding of EW impacts on radar hardware and electronic Protection (EP) algorithms.
  • Experience with system design and trade studies, RF chain analysis, and radar system performance analysis.
  • Experience using C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or other programming languages.
  • Experience supporting US Government S&TI Centers, especially the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)
