Medical Graft Technician - Birth Tissue - Weekend Shift 2900 College Dr, Kettering, OH 45420, USA Req #569 Monday, August 5, 2024 Solvita comes from "sol" meaning sun and "vita" meaning life. Because we believe that everyone deserves more time to live life to its fullest. Our Birth Tissue processing technicians transform the donor gift of birth tissue. In this area, technicians will produce grafts for various customers using scalpels, CNC mills and e-grinders, and other instruments within a cleanroom or biological safety cabinet. You will be handling both living (birth) tissue and cadaveric tissue. Each graft is run through a series of cleaning agents to reduce bioburden prior to final packaging and produced to a specific tolerance; to the nearest mm. Multiple positions available, starting at $18.00 + shift differential. Weekend Shifts pay 10% weekend shift premium. Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care. Must be able to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions. Must be able to report numbers accurately. Requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), moderate to continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding. Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields. Requires good eye-hand coordination skills. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
