Planner Scheduler

Job Description

The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize manufacturing efficiency.

  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.

  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available for scheduled production runs.

  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on production status, capacity utilization, and other key performance indicators.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role working from around 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and working in a fast-paced environment.
