Detroit Quality Staffing LLC Automotive Mechanic in Dearborn, Michigan
The Automotive Mechanic will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. The Automotive Mechanic will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interactions.
Shift: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday OT as needed
Locations Available: (Livonia, Allen Parkm and Dearborn)
*Duties and Resposibilities: *
- Maintaian vehicle functional condition by wokring off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections.
- Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components.
- Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
- Maintain Vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders.
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventitive maintenance, calling for repairs.
- Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- No previous work experience needed
Skills,Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to work indepedently and as par as a team.
- Ability to read, comprehend and execute witten procedures
