Ford Motor Company CMD Advanced Project Management Lead in Dearborn, Michigan

Join our Color & Material Design team as the Color & Material Advanced Management Lead. You will lead program implementation from initial concept to launch to deliver world class color and material quality through alignment of final execution work streams. Collaborating with the CMD leadership and designers, you will lead advanced developments through the early concept stages to their full integration and implementation into the Ford production systems.

What you'll do...

  • Partner with Programs X-functional Planning teams to incorporate identified advanced material commodities into program assumptions and finances

  • Establish relationships across diverse disciplines to build alignment between teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of agreed priorities

  • Lead cross-vehicle complexity analysis and planning

  • Manage Global Commodity Business Plan communication with the CMD team

  • Coordinate and secure funding for Advanced material innovation projects

  • Support progression of Advanced material innovation concepts through technical feasibility to application readiness

  • Collaborate with CMD management on advanced materials and strategic process improvements

  • Champion advanced developments through the early concept stages to their full integration and implementation

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that the projects are aligned to business objectives, program timing and milestone deliverables

  • Support all program timing, ensuring program and project deliverables are met within the program targets

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Knowledge base of materials and/or related experience in process and product development deployment is essential

  • Acumen to communicate with multiple teams and key stakeholders is required to deliver final products

  • Ability to manage timelines for delivery of new materials for production timeline

  • Experience in building strong working relationships with people across all organizational levels

  • Specific knowledge and experience in relevant Automotive and/or Material Development assignments

  • Demonstrated technical mastery, leadership, and collaboration skills
