Corewell Health Maintenance Technician in Dearborn, Michigan

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director/Manager/Supervisor, assists in the repair/replacement of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems serving the buildings & grounds of the campus.

Essential Functions

  • Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems.

  • Responds to hot and cold calls; conference room set-ups; change light bulbs; minor plumbing repairs; trash removal; grounds work; snow removal; etc.

  • Performs work in high places, using ladders, scaffolding, etc.

  • Maintains equipment, tools, parts, equipment records and accomplishes minor repairs.

  • Assists maintenance staff in maintaining equipment throughout the campus and makes minor repairs.

  • Maintains maintenance records & observes all safety regulations.

  • Assists maintenance staff as assigned.

  • May perform duties of Maintenance I & II.

Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 4 years in a related field Required

  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
