Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Programmer/Process Control Engineer at our Dearborn Works operation. The Programmer/Process Control will utilize their programming knowledge to support various steel making and finishing operations at the Dearborn Works operation.
Summary of Responsibilities: IT in a process manufacturing environment, including automation, control and systems integration. Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software systems, hardware servers, devices and network switches. Maintaining and improving level II computer systems. Mill support for C software development. Support embedded SQL development. Support signal processing. Data/Failure analysis. System commissioning. Model development/support.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science required. Knowledge of C programming and SQL required. Willingness to learn processes and new technology.
