Job Description
Day to Day:
As a Software Engineering Manager at Ford Credit in Mexico City, you will lead a team of engineers, leveraging your 5-7 years of people management experience to guide and mentor them. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the development and maintenance of software solutions within the P&C insurance domain, utilizing platforms like Guidewire, Origami, and Duck Creek. You will manage IT operations, focusing on DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, and backend software development. Effective communication will be key as you coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure your team meets project goals. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in building out your team, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Must Have:
5-7 years of people management experience
Solid background in P&C Insurance domain (Guidewire, Origami, Duck Creek)
Background in IT (DevSecOps, Cloud, Backend software)
Managerial level communication skills
Ability to build out a team (interview, hire, make decisions) NA null
