Job Type: Day Shift - Full time w/ benefits, overtime available.

Employee Requirements:

Basic measurement tools 0 - 6 OD Micrometers 12 Dial Calipers Assorted Basic Hand Tools

Job Responsibilities:

Produce quality machined parts utilizing manual horizontal and vertical mills and manual engine lathes Work from sample parts, hand sketches, and full blueprints Complete work in a timely manner in the order assigned Maintain quality of completed parts through self-inspection as parts are produced Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to all company safety guidelines and requirements Regularly clean and maintain equipment through preventative maintenance Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair equipment when required Work overtime as required to meet our customers needs

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to use manual engine lathes and Bridgeport type milling machines

Ability to read and understand blueprints Ability to sketch blueprints from sample parts Ability to machine parts from samples w/ modifications per our companys tolerancing and standards Ability to machine ID and OD, metric and imperial threads according to industry standards Strong math skills; Imperial to Metric conversions Strong communication skills Ability to calculate dimensions from blueprints and/or specifications Ability to determine tooling, speeds and feeds, and proper order of operations to accurately and efficiently complete parts Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as dial calipers, OD micrometers, ID micrometers, depth micrometers, thread gauges, thread wires, bore gauges, dial indicators, test indicators, travel dials, etc
