Cabinetmakersbuild and repair custom or production-type fixtures and furniture made of wood or wood substitutes. To build typical wood units such as commercial kitchen cabinets, cabinetmakers: Create and read specifications and drawings. Make layouts and patterns.Positions parts and sub assemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub assemblies. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.Counter-top Fabricator isresponsible for cutting and fabricating all things laminate and solid surface to be used for our finished products. Inspect the laminate or solid surface material for any defects and imperfections. Cut the material into the desired pieces using the bridge saw. The duties of a cabinet installer includemeasuring rooms and spaces to determine the materials needed, building custom and ready-made cabinets, handling the installation of parts, and applying finish such as paint or stain. You need skills with power tools and hand tools to be a cabinet installer.
