We want you to become a part of our team tackling some of the toughest hydroelectric and heavy industrial projects while enjoying the less hectic atmosphere of the region to enjoy family and friends in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of the U.S. MILLWRIGHT Work at various customer sites installing, maintaining, repairing and/or removing machines and equipment. Must be able to install, repair, replace, and dismantle the machinery and heavy equipment used in industrial settings. Millwright should work to schedule and prepare for these tasks to reduce and eliminate hazards in advance, ensuring adherence to all safety guidelines. Frequent travel to project locations required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These duties are those typically performed in this position. Employee may not perform all the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties. Weld and assemble steel and stainless-steel parts to company standards using a variety of tools and methods Plans, inspects, verifies, and documents scope of work Moves machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools Constructs foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials, such as wood cement, and steel Aligns machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs Assembles machinery to foundation or other structures, using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment Selects cables, ropes, chains, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved Attaches load with grappling devices, such as loops, wires, ropes, and chains, to crane hook Sets up, braces, and rigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches Required repair and lubricate machinery and equipment Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties.
