Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity that offers a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. Attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, this role works closely with and reports to the Accounting Manager. The main responsibilities will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Requirements
Major responsibilities
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Fullfill full-cycle A/P
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional projects as required
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Requirements
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Daily Reconciliation experience
Proficiency in Coding Invoices
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Approved Invoices experience required
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
