Aerotek Assembly Technician in DEERFIELD BEACH, Florida
Job Title: Technician
Job Description
-Accurately set up new equipment out of the box following manufacturer’s guidelines.
-Perform setup on equipment in accordance with specification.
-Prepare Demo units according to specifications.
-Document issues in a clear and concise manner.
-Grind bed knives, reels, blades, and set the Height of Cut (HOC) to the customers' requested settings.
-Use the computer for parts lookup and keep up with company communications through email.
-Assemble new equipment accessories to customer specs.
-Equipment will be inspected through an internal Quality Control Tech.
Hard Skills
Experience in mechanic repair and maintenance
Ability to read manuals, electrical and hydraulic systems schematics
Basic knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in DEERFIELD BEACH, Florida.
Work Environment
Hot Warehouse - No AC - Non-Climate controlled. Shift: M-F 8am - 4:30pm.
Work tasks require the ability to exert heavy physical effort in routine heavy work, including balancing, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling moderately heavy objects weighing 20 to 70 pounds and occasionally heavier objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
