Ayersville Local Schools has an opening for a Classroom Educational Aide for the 2024-2025 school year. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required. ODE Educational Aide Permit or the ability to obtain the permit. Must be able to pass the Para Pro Assessment. Must comply with workplace rules and board policies. Must pass mandated state & federal background checks. Must be able to work with students having a variety of needs and abilities. Successful completion of mandated safety, health, and compliance requirements. Will assist the teacher in performing a variety of educational and support services. Should be self-directed, congenial, have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Prefer First Aid/CPR certification. Prefer experience working with students and parents in an educational setting. CPI Certification preferred or ability to obtain the certification.
