Fancy Petals Florist Delivery Driver in Defiance, Ohio
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting flower arrangements and gift items from our flower shop to designated locations in a timely manner. **This position could possibly turn into more hours with the option to work inside the flower shop designing floral arrangements and working with customers.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently transport products to customers or businesses
- Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures -Working in flower shop end of day cleaning
- Communicate with customers to ensure timely deliveries and address any concerns
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil and gas levels
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 30 lbs) when necessary
-Good communication skills (in person and on telephone)
