REQUIREMENTS FOR SWIM INSTRUCTORS

As a swim instructor, you constantly work with kids and see them progress and reach their goals as you apply the British Swim School aquatics program. Even if you are not an expert swimmer, that’s ok! We can train anyone on how to teach the way we teach, but here is what we do need from you:

• You've got to love working with children and seeing them progress

• We need RELIABILITY

• You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory!

• This is a year-round indoor position

• You need to be able to reliably commute to our pool location

COMPENSATION AND REWARDS

• Pay $18.00- $20.00/hr

• Structured, paid training

• Flexible yet CONSISTENT schedules- shifts are 4 hours; easy to schedule around school or other job

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shifts available-

• Evening shift- 3:30-7:00

• Mornings shift- 9-12

• Weekend shift 9-1

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”

Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee (franchise owner).
