Maquoketa Valley Community School District Director of Transportation, Maintenance, and Grounds in Delhi, Iowa

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

The Transportation Director provides supervision and oversight of all transportation personnel while effectively managing the MCSD School Transportation Program. This individual must comply with all MVSD Policies and Procedures while cooperating with staff and patrons to promote the educational values of the School District.

The District Manager of Maintenance and Grounds works with the Superintendent, Central Office Personnel and Custodial Staff to effectively manage day-to-day business operations. This individual is responsible for supervising custodial staff, maintenance of mechanical systems of the districts buildings and general upkeep of the buildings and equipment for the day to day operations of the district.

Will facilitate communications and the purchasing/ordering/invoicing of supplies for the Support Services Dept. Grounds: responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the districts property and the maintenance and replacement of all equipment for this task.
