Job Description:
About the Role:
Acts as a key member of the Plant Steering Team, providing overall HR direction for the Delta facility and ensuring a strong link with operational strategies.
Provides sound advice and coaching to department managers/front line supervisors on all areas of HR
Analyzes HR data for the purpose of identifying trends and preparing HR plans (i.e. performance management tracking, vacancy reports, HR scorecard, retention rates, etc.).
Supports positive employee relations, providing direction and counsel regarding human resources tools and processes to Frontline Leaders and Management
Builds effective relationships with operational departments to understand their business goals and to proactively identify and implement solutions that align with organizational strategies.
Conducts investigations and maintains corrective action procedures; ensuring effective application and administration of policies.
Leads talent management programs, including performance review cycle tracking, individual development plans, and succession planning.
Enter biweekly payroll changes and data for processing.
Prepare and lead engagement activities to boast employee relations and engagement
Participates in various HR projects as required.
Demonstrates tact and diplomacy and maintains discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee data.
Compensation is $75,000 - $93,800depending on experience
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
Manufacturing experience (particularly food industry/CPG experience) highly preferred.
Must have a desire to walk the shop floor.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of current trends and issues in Human Resources Management.
