Your opportunity
Be responsible for managing and executing cash products across the US region for a variety of client portfolios
Ensure investments are made in line with investment restrictions for each portfolio; many of which will vary from portfolio to portfolio
Make contribution to/determine overall asset allocation of portfolio construction decisions and appropriate risk management of investments within your area of control on specific portfolios
Liaise with Traders to raise, amend and cancel orders in CRD (the OMS) for suitable investment opportunities
Ensure the Front Office activities are appropriately controlled to mitigate the risks related to trade execution and allocation
Be responsible for managing financial risk
May enhance broader trading desks capabilities by working on specific projects to help optimise the trading process. These may include Repo trading, centralizing FX capabilities and implementation of regulatory change
Assist with credit analysis for money market issuers
Assist with data review for regulatory filings and stress testing
Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
Knowledge of and experience with cash instruments relevant to the investment areas for the role
Experience with Bloomberg and other market data platforms
Knowledge of Charles Rivers or other trade booking system
Strong analytical mind-set
Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate traders, analysts and PMs in both group and individual settings regarding investment decisions; may have opportunities to present and interact with fund boards
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to balance multiple responsibilities in areas of trading, cash reconciliation and managing risk
Strong risk management skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Nice to have skills
Preferably CFA or IMC qualified or equivalent work experience
Preferably degree educated in a business, mathematics or finance subject area
Strong interest in financial markets / macroeconomics
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build and develop relationships

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $125,000-150,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through July 5, 2024.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
