We are seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer who is passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and modern DevOps practices. As part of our Cloud Services and DevOps Team, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, integrating services, and enhancing our cloud automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code, extensive experience with cloud platforms, a strong background in scripting and automation, and familiarity with AI-driven tools. Key responsibilities include: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency. Utilize version control (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira) to maintain code quality and ensure seamless team cooperation. Implement and manage cloud database solutions such as Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and ensure their integration with other cloud services. Design and deploy messaging and event-driven services like AWS SNS, SQS, and AWS EventBridge. Implement and maintain authentication and identity management systems, such as Cognito, ADFS, and SSO/SAML/OAuth. Ensure proper management of PKI, SSL, and certificate-based authentication to guarantee secure communication. Research, develop, and deploy AI-driven tools and systems to bring efficiency and innovation to the team's operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security best practices are in place. Act as the final escalation point for cloud or infrastructure related issues in our ticketing system.

Building blocks for success

Required: 5+ years of experience managing and deploying cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS and IaC tools like Terraform. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, and Bash, for automation and cloud management. Experience managing cloud database solutions and integrating them with applications and APIs. Hands-on experience with messaging services (e.g., AWS SNS/SQS), and authentication services (e.g., SAML, OAuth, Cognito). Experience with Azure DevOps for deployment automation and GitHub for code storage. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest cloud and DevOps technologies.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field. Familiarity with front-end development technologies, such as React, is a plus. Knowledge of AI-driven tools and systems is advantageous. AWS cert fications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Developer Associate, Database Specialty) are appreciated but not required.

Hiring Salary Range of: $98,000-$135,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
