Independent Bank Group Commercial Lending Support Manager in Denver, Colorado

The Commercial Lending Support Manager is responsible for Relationship/Portfolio Management and services current customer relationships within assigned portfolio though accurate documentation and monitoring. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations. Manages a team of Lending Assistants and provides ongoing training and support to others across the Colorado Market.

Responsibilities Management: Hiring, promoting, discipline, terminating, scheduling, training, developing, performance monitoring, and directing Responsible for work flow assignments, overall work quality and product output for lending assistants supporting the Lending team Acts a liaison to Operations Management for training opportunities of Lending Assistant staff Directly supervises, manages credit risk through documentation and monitoring, retaining accountability for all aspects of loan from inception through payoff. Coordinates loan documentation with various parties including title companies, attorneys and appraisers and/or loan document processors. Prepares and reviews complex loan documentation to ensure compliance with credit approval with respect covenants, definitions, testing periods, and includes processing, administration and closing. Resolves problems related to content of documentation. Conducts loan closings and disbursement of funds. Prepares and maintains construction loan records including construction draws, floor plans, and letters of credit. Prepares and funds construction loan advances in accordance with loan requirements and credit approvals. Issues advances on line of credit loans in accordance with loan requirements and credit approvals. Files and releases financing statements and real estate mortgages. Prepares past due reports/notices and extensions and/or modifications of mature loans that may be complex. Answers customer inquiries regarding payment amounts on accounts/loans and other credit information, and resolves associated problems. Assists customers with financial statements and review the same for covenant testing and compliance on behalf of lenders. Computes interest and payments that may be complex.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required. 7-10 years' experience in commercial lending as lending assistant, portfolio manager, or relationship manager including managing the most complex customers such as C&I and/ CRE transactions required. Loan Documentation background required. Ability to effectively plan, manage, and delegate the work of others. Solid knowledge of financial lending regulations. Advanced knowledge of credit philosophy and policies as well as loan documentation. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as analytic and problem solving skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook (e.g. create templates, complete mail merges, insert and edit charts, create basic formulas, create queries). Ability to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information into meaningful patterns
