What Sales Enablement contributes to Cardinal Health
Sales Enablement is responsible for supporting the sales organization and driving operational excellence to achieve the strategic and growth objectives established by the sales organization. This includes supporting disciplined sales execution; increasing win rates by providing selling support throughout the opportunity life cycle; reduce the administrative burden and barriers; and enhancing that customer and rep experience.
Responsibilities
This individual will provide sales enablement support to the commercial sales team with a primary focus to achieve results aligned to the business priorities and executing upon key initiatives. Supporting disciplined execution and enhancing the customer experience, through deliberate action and follow up are critical to success.
Provide selling support for the sales leadership team and their field sales teams
Supports and drives execution of Corporate Initiatives (Internal/External)
Proactively identifies savings opportunities through product conversions, operational efficiencies, and Cardinal Health services.
Analyzes data and provides insights and recommendations for business decisions and support the strategic objectives of the sales organization.
Prepare and actively participates in customer business reviews as needed
Support new customer onboarding and product conversion implementation activities
Work across the organization to generate appropriate content and insights for business reporting
Support processes that focus on Retaining & Growing Customer Base
Utilizes broad & deep knowledge to support enhanced business practices, policies & procedures
Working knowledge of the various technologies to support the business
Develops and nurtures relationships with stakeholders
Supports implementation and on-going training of Sales Tools and processes
Works closely with Leaders & other stakeholders on projects to improve sales force effectiveness from development through implementation of such programs and tools to drive optimization.
Works collaboratively with sales leaders, functional business partner leaders, and other stakeholders, in support of the sales processes for both individual business units/offerings and cross-business offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum 4-8 years general business experience preferred
Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication
Strong presentation and communication skills: must demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, alternatives, & recommendations
Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing business needs
Ability to be flexible and juggle multiple priorities in a demanding environment
Strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills required
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to identify business process improvements and successful implementation
Resourceful and motivated self-starter
Ability to navigate and collaborate across the matrix
Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally on projects
Proven ability to meet deadlines, follow-through on details, provide input & feedback to the team
Advanced computer skills, specifically: MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience using Salesforce preferred
Change management experience a plus
Travel – 5% of the time

Identifies and develops plans, while collaborating and aligning with sales leadership, to deliver increased sales discipline and drive toward performance execution
Responsible for driving and managing projects with larger scope with significant and long-term impact
Develops relationships with internal stakeholders, and provides support to Sales Leadership to participate in a variety of activities, including but not limited to, customer business reviews, RFPs, process improvements to improve the customer experience, etc
Recommends new best demonstrated practices, processes, metrics, or models
Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope
Manage resolution of issues related to enhancements & projects
Demonstrates and executes on knowledge and understanding of relevant business process(es)
Uses deep subject matter/functional expertise, influence, and process skills to help internal/external customers and stakeholders identify and meet their high priority needs while considering cultural and diversity implications
Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs, or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Anticipated salary range: $66,500 - $94,900
** The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
