As a Solution Developer, you are passionate about creating new, innovative and customer focused products and services. In this role, you'll be responsible for building solutions and communicating the value proposition to internal and external audiences for our B2B business. This means you will oversee the solution development workflow through five phases: Research, Design, Create, Pilot, and Go-to-Market. What is Prologis Essentials?

Prologis Essentials is Prologis's new business line focused on understanding our customers' needs in order to develop and deliver new value-add programs, products, and services that optimize their warehouse and supply chain operations. Prologis Essentials is re-defining industrial real estate by designing the first warehousing-as-a-service customer experience. We are adding tremendous value for our customers beyond our real estate portfolio and positioning Prologis as a needed expert in providing turnkey industrial warehouse infrastructure solutions. Prologis Essentials is effectively a startup but is growing rapidly and already making an impact on the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead profitable growth through identification of product opportunities. Develop and launch new products to take advantage of those opportunities.
• Understand product-led growth, and how to use product experiences to acquire new customers, increase customer spend, and create customer satisfaction.
• Develop product strategies and roadmaps, manage products from idea to market delivery.
• Manage Voice of the Customer methods to determine high-value problems to be solved.
• Source new solutions development ideas from external and internal sources: sales, leasing, property management, customer-led solutions, etc.
• Create product requirements documents and executive team investment memos.
• Evaluate and find the correct partners and suppliers.
• Set market pricing and evaluate margin targets for product line and/or solution offering.
• Launch new products, incorporating appropriate marketing communication, advertising, promotional, and training activities that highlight features/benefits of Prologis Essentials products versus the competition.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time to visit customers, sales teams, and partners.

Building blocks for success

Required:

• 7+ years experience in a B2B Product Development, Solutions Innovation, or Engineering Design role, with documented success launching multiple new products.
• Experience in warehouse design, MHE, automation and robotics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing requirements documents, executive briefing memos, and business cases.
• Leading, coaching, and motivating cross-functional teams to complete projects on time.
• Experience partnering with outside suppliers and vendors.
• Experience with financial modeling and informing go/no-go decisions with economic facts.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA is plus.
• Relevant experience researching, piloting, and scaling innovations in the industrial warehousing space is a plus.

Hiring Salary Range of $130,000 - $179,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate's locations, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
