Targeted compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 + bonus

Compensation commensurate with experience and skill set

What is the role and where can you add value?

2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and customer-centric individual to join our Dispatch Team. Dispatch is responsible for locating contractors to service warranty claims when a contractor does not immediately appear available. As the Supervisor overseeing this team, you will ensure appropriate workload balance and production across the various team members. The supervisor also administers or arranges training for new and existing team members and provides supervision, mentorship, and support for the team.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assign and direct day-to-day work for the Dispatch team

  • Remain available to provide support and coverage for team members during operational shifts

  • Create a collaborative team environment allowing for knowledge transfer between both teams

  • Assist team members with problem solving with regards to complex tasks/escalations

  • Implement and monitor performance goals and objectives, and provide regular feedback to team members

  • Assist with hiring by screening and interviewing applicants for Dispatch Team roles

  • Provide and utilize productivity reports for leadership to assess performance and production of the team

  • Train or arrange training for new employees and ongoing training for existing employees

  • Implement and evaluate strategies to improve employee performance

  • Create a culture and atmosphere that will lead to a high level of employee engagement, a high performing team and career paths for team members

  • Provide regular performance meetings with each team member to provide performance feedback

  • Support the leadership team in problem solving to improve team performance and department processes

  • Ensure team’s compliance with departmental KPI’s, policies and procedures, objectives, and quality assurance

  • Maintain team payroll and time off requests

  • Complete annual performance evaluations for all direct-report team members

  • Occasional travel required

  • Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience should you bring to this role?

  • Ability to complete all core responsibilities

  • Prior supervisory experience highly preferred

  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Negotiation skills and the ability to process complex challenges effectively

  • Intermediate + Computer Skills and familiarity with MS Office suite
