Your opportunity

  • Support all audit areas within the Distribution, Corporate, and Operations functional audit team.

  • Assist in risk assessment and relationship management across functional departments.

  • Scope relevant audit topics and independently identify relevant risks and controls within audit scope.

  • Develop and execute testing plans for identified risks and controls, ensuring thorough documentation and logically indexed workpapers and overseeing work by third-party resources as necessary.

  • Write clear and concise audit reports to articulate issues identified and evaluate their impact on the business.

  • Communicate audit findings and corrective action recommendations to Internal Audit Leadership.

  • Partner with business units to ensure timely completion of corrective actions and lead follow-up procedures to verify the implementation of key recommendations.

  • Summarize key audit insights and findings for board reporting.

  • Remain updated with regulatory changes and industry best practices to align audits with current standards and risks.

  • Foster collaboration within the audit team and contribute to risk management practices, raising awareness of risk management and sound business controls in the business.

  • Continuously develop personal skills and promote the positive impact and image of Internal Audit.

    Must have skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, or minimum educated to degree level or equivalent.

  • Practical knowledge of the audit process including planning, execution, and completion of the audit engagement.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Previous exposure to the Financial Services Industry, preferably within Investment Management.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and people simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Advanced ability to write clearly and concisely in a technical manner.

  • Ability to resolve audit conflicts with management positively and professionally.

    Nice to have skills

  • Big 4 experience is desirable

  • Relevant professional qualification e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Charted Financial Analyst (CFA), etc.

  • Exposure to or experience in using data analytics techniques and visualization.

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through May 5, 2024.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
