Description of Job

What you'll be doing:

Supervises the Managed Care Technology Unit Provides recommendations to the Program Operations Section Manager and other staff that will improve capacity for data analysis required within the program management functions of the Section. Works with the ACC team and other Department sections to implement the various policy changes required by the evolving program and to ensure data and systems as implemented support program and policy changes. Acts as a liaison between policy and operations, particularly as related to enrollment and system needs, and will require an ability to understand and provide recommendations that are supported by data analysis around policy goals. Reviews program evaluation data, monitors program outcomes and provides the ACC team with information on potential areas of improvement. Implements quality control processes around work products developed in areas related to data analytics, member and provider enrollment, attribution, systems, and payment. Leads programmatic changes and works independently in this role. Areas of focus include enrollment and attribution initiatives, program evaluation, performance payment operations, and alignment between the ACC and other programs and payers. Develops and implements complex systems related to payment and operations. Works directly with federal partners to seek federal approval for any programmatic changes required. Uses strong leadership and communications skills as well as an aptitude for technical troubleshooting of analytics and operations issues to resolve issues and barriers to implementation of program activities. Communicate verbally and in writing with external partners, including Medicaid providers. Develops project plans and processes for complex operations.
