Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Robert Half has partnered with a mid-size plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm in the Denver Tech Center on the search for a 5+ years’ litigation paralegal to join their growing team, on a direct hire basis. This Firm is not a high-volume practice, and they strive to offer a high level of service to all clients in which they represent. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Analyze medical records, police reports, witness statements, and other evidence to develop strong cases.

• Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents with meticulous accuracy.

• Conduct legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and personal injury principles.

• Schedule and coordinate medical examinations, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

• Manage client communication, keeping them informed, empathetic, and involved throughout the legal process.

• Draft settlement demands and negotiate aggressively with insurance companies to secure maximum compensation for clients.

• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and creating demonstrative aids.

• Maintain meticulous and organized case files, ensuring efficient access to critical information.

• Docketing and calculating deadlines

• Stay current on personal injury law developments and emerging trends.

Our client does offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. This is an in-office position in the Denver Tech Center, but the firm is willing to offer some flexibility for a hybrid schedule after 90 days. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field

• Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software and Management System

• Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research

• Experience in drafting and briefing legal documents

• Capable of managing and organizing calendars and schedules

• Proven track record in claim administration and complaint handling

• Background in personal injury litigation and representing personal injury plaintiffs

• Proficiency in docketing and maintaining court calendars

• Ability to analyze and interpret medical records for personal injury cases

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Willingness to continue learning and improving paralegal skills.
