Robert Half Receptionist Intermediate (3-6 years) in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated Receptionist in Denver, Colorado. As the first point of contact for visitors, the Receptionist will manage a multi-line phone system, assist with administrative tasks, and work closely with various internal and external partners. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the initial point of contact for visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

• Manage a multi-line phone system, handling incoming calls promptly and professionally.

• Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including invoice processing, scheduling maintenance calls with vendors, and ordering office supplies.

• Work closely with internal and external partners, including the catering, security, audio visual, events, and facility teams.

• Understand and manage events taking place within the reservation books, entering updates as necessary.

• Familiarize yourself with frequent users within the building and guests arriving to the center.

• Assist with light data entry for events when required.

• Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as needed.

• Understand meeting room capabilities and catering offerings.

• Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements • Proven experience in a Receptionist role or similar position

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

• Proficiency in data entry tasks with high level of accuracy

• Experience in managing scheduling systems, ensuring appointments are accurately logged and confirmed

• Knowledge of standard receptionist duties including answering and directing phone calls, and greeting visitors

• Familiarity with security procedures including visitor logs and issuing visitor badges

• Experience in liaising with vendors, including ordering office supplies and managing deliveries

• Ability to handle incoming calls, including answering queries and managing reservations

• Experience in coordinating catering for office events and meetings

• Proficiency in invoice processing, ensuring payments are made and received on time

• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems

• Ability to work with external partners, maintaining professional relationships

• Knowledge of audio-visual equipment for setting up meetings and presentations.
