About the Position

We are currently seeking a Structural Revit Designer to add to our team in Denver, Colorado. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate self-starter to work directly with local and national land development projects. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary office environment.


  • Works with the Project Lead or Project Manager to set up and initial layout of documents including schematic designs and iterations

  • Extensive knowledge of Revit for best practices working with teams in house as well as outside architects.

  • Create standards, libraries and processes to create a streamline workflow.

  • Prepare construction documents throughout the design process

  • Develop structural design layouts and drawings from sketches provided by engineers

  • Develop construction documents for bidding, permitting and construction

  • Coordination of drawing production activities between all disciplines at the project level

  • Assist in the quality checking of drafted product and conformance with drawing production standards and project specific CAD requirement

  • Manage multiple projects as well as working with multiple Project Leads/Managers concurrently

  • Knowledge of or desire to learn Advanced Steel with the intent of creating a steel shop drawings as part of the Galloway Full-Spectrum Approach™



  • Associates or technical degree in Drafting/Design preferred


  • Typically, four plus years of experience after educational requirements above.


  • Possesses basic understanding of building and framing systems.

  • Possesses basic understanding of approval and permitting process for structural engineering.

  • Understands project schedules and budgets; is able to work efficiently within project guidelines.

  • Working knowledge/experience using Revit and proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers drafting experience is a plus.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Understands project schedules and budgets; ability to work efficiently within project guidelines.

  • Communicates in a timely and effective manner within the team and with various agencies and other disciplines working on project.

  • Keen attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple tasks or projects with changing priorities


The estimated starting hourly pay range for this role is $20.00-$35.00

The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
