As a Manufacturing Engineer I with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will apply education, experience and expertise in the launch of new product designs into manufacturing, to make process improvements and to solve manufacturing problems. Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001.
Additional Duties:
Interprets mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, procedures and test protocols.
Conducts prototype manufacturing builds to test and evaluate product and process designs and revisions.
Works in close collaboration with other engineering teams, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality in the launch of new products and the manufacturing support of existing products.
Develops and designs basic tools and fixtures, researches and specifies manufacturing equipment and systems.
Creates and maintains accurate mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications and manufacturing process documentation.
Provides documentation on assembly methods and test procedures.
Conducts failure analyses to resolve manufacturability or quality issues.
Provides technical assistance in matters of products, materials, equipment and processes.
Travel up to 5% to visit customers, vendors, suppliers, other company locations, affiliates, attend technical meetings, trade shows or conferences.
Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering Ideally mechanical, electrical, or electrical technology
Experience:
Internship, Co-Op or equivalent industry project experience.
Manufacturing processes knowledge
Materials, materials processing and metallurgy knowledge
PCB is involved in the development of technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. For the purpose of our compliance with U.S. Export Control laws, U.S. citizenship or permanent resident/green card is required

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
