Locates and contacts delinquent borrowers using various methods available and works with members to resolve delinquencies or set up payment plans. Records all contact attempts and information in the Ackcelerant system.Works as part of a team to meet established collection goals and assists colleagues when necessary. Supports colleagues as needed with execution of duties assigned. Participates in available credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study, CUES University, Lending Development Training, and the credit union's training department.Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.Qualifications and Experience:Do you have two (2) or more years of experience as a collector, preferably for a financial institution? Do you possess basic knowledge of debt collection practices and regulations and credit union policy and procedures?
