Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Uses all equipment for hard floor care and carpet care properly and according to manufacturers instructions, cleaning each piece of equipment used daily and ready for the next shift.
· Handles/mixes all chemicals required for hard floor care and carpet care appropriately, safely, and as recommended by the manufacturer.
· Communicates with management all problems with equipment and progress on projects assigned daily.
· Logs activities for each shift and turns in paperwork at the end of the shift to the supervisor.
· Maintains a clean and neat janitorial closet, cart and work area.
· Communicates with employees and/or guests in the area where projects are being completed, informing them of the length of time they will need to be in the area and working around traffic.
· Works as a team member to accomplish all projects assigned through management.
· Completes all other assignments given by management, inclusive of essential functions of the Environmental Service Associate.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English.
· Past experience in hard floor care and/or carpet care.
