We seek a dynamic individual to join our growing team who will use their strong interpersonal skills and passion for talent to lead our technician recruitment team. This person will coach, motivate and mentor all levels of technician recruitment employees.
The Manager of Technician Recruiting will be a positive and energetic self-starter. This individual will develop and implement the strategic talent acquisition strategy for hiring TWC Services technicians, assisting efforts to grow the business year over year.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management.Manages a team of technician recruitment professionals in order to fulfill open requisitions for the business. Hires, coaches, mentors and retains team members to obtain successful outcomes and grow the business.
- Business Plan.Work in conjuction with location managers and TWCSI management team to develop an annual business plan. Objectives will include identifying and qualifying prospective technician candidates to meet specific needs by location and skill requirement.
- Candidate Pipelines.Attends careers fairs, trades shows, and school events as needed. Supports staff in attendance of these events. Suggests and implements new methods of candidate pipeline generation including events, advertisements, and networking or benchbuilding opportunities.
- Recruitment Materials.Prepares recruiting materials and assists with orientation process to aid in the recruitment process.
- Technology.Works within HRIS system to process requisitions, candidates, and new hires for adherence to best practices and compliance.
Requirements:
- 2 year degree in HR, skilled trades or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years recruitment experience or experience hiring HVAC technicians
- Management or experience in a leadership role preferred
- HVAC/R industry experience a plus
- Experience using an HRIS system
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
