Cassia Receptionist in Des Moines, Iowa
Valley View Village is hiring a Full-Time Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, help with administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service to guests. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with the elderly, has the ability to multi-task and assist with administrative support, and is friendly and professional in all situations.
This is a Full-Time Day benefit eligible position.
Receptionist responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Greet guests, answer questions, and direct visitors throughout the campus.
Answer incoming calls, transfer calls, and take messages.
Develop an organizational system for the front office.
Coordinate bus schedules for residents.
Prepare and make deposits.
Assist with putting together marketing materials.
Help with social media video and posts or willingness to learn.
Sort mail, sign for packages, flowers, etc. received at the reception desk.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
Receptionist skills and requirements:
Experience in managing multi-line phone system.
Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
Able to demonstrate and provide outstanding customer services.
Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
