Some things you can expect to do:
Work with project managers to develop conceptual and detailed estimates
Perform quantity take-offs of key construction systems
Create project estimates individually and with a team
Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bid proposals
Scope and select subcontractors based on best value and project requirements
Record final estimates and maintain cost history
Support the development, architectural, and construction team with preconstruction expertise including value design, costs, project schedule, procurement, and project pursuits
Train Cost Engineers and Project Management staff
Review and provide feedback on project estimates created by the project managers. Provide direction for understanding project scope, market pricing, and available resources
Assist clients and developers with conceptual budgets of types
Capable of cost modeling using Uniformat II system costs
Lead the design process and provide input on schedule status, cost impacts, project efficiencies, and constructability
Record design meeting minutes and distribute to team members
Create and manage overall preconstruction/predevelopment schedule consisting of key construction, design, development, and entitlement activities
Job Requirements:
- To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural, or Construction Management degree and at least 6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry.
You will really stand out if you:
Understand construction means and methods, building types, and procurement methods
Have proficiency with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structures
Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, OST, Bluebeam, Destini, Building Connected and MS Project
Large projects.

Compensation:
The base pay is $129,500.00 - $161,850.00. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
