Actalent Project Manager in Des Plaines, Illinois
Description:
Reviews Construction Documents for accuracy and ensures quality by marking corrections / red lines in preparation for review, bidding, permitting and construction
Identifies, researches and develops solutions for technical and design challenges.
Performs code research to ensure that all necessary codes are applied to design solutions and construction documentation.
Manages the permitting process in its entirety.
Manges coordination of projects with all outside project consultants and vendors.
Manages and performs site observations and prepares site visit reports.
Manages the Construction Administration phase including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, participating in OAC calls.
Responsible for coordinating professional service contracts.
Actively maintains positive relationships with clients during the project, ensuring they are regularly informed about the progress.
Participates in client relationship meetings alongside the Team Lead.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture
on track to licensure
4-8 years of experience
AutoCAD
Revit, Bluebeam, Revu, Microsoft PowerPoint, Enscape and/or 3D Studio Max is a plus
SD-CD experience
Can work with minimal oversight
Retail/restaurant experience preferred, open to commercial
