*Position Summary: *The Coordinator of Learning Operations is a pivotal member of the Community & Learning team at the DSO. Reporting to the Manager of Learning, Programs and Student Development, the Coordinator of Learning Operations works directly with students, families, teaching faculty, administrative staff, orchestra musicians, and community partners to implement music education and enrichment programs of the highest quality. These programs include the training ensembles of the Wu Family Academy, and community-based partnerships.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the Manager of Learning, Programs & Student Development and the Learning team to manage the artistic and event operations of the Training Ensembles of the Wu Family Academy
• Communicate and confirm schedules, event details, and logistical needs to staff, faculty, and instructors
• Ensure a smooth-running and high-impact musical experience for students by developing appropriate relationships with students, parents, and faculty, consistently providing outstanding customer service to all constituents
• Manage the general training ensemble email and phone inbox

``` - Lead logistical planning for all training ensemble rehearsals, concerts, special events, touring, recordings, and auditions - Arrange weekly transportation for Civic Youth Ensembles students - Manage databases, all learning platforms, and calendars - Record and manage financial information including general ledger, accounts payable, receivables and tuition - Serve as Manager on Duty for rehearsals and concerts - Track attendance of students, faculty, mentors, and staff - Perform other duties as assigned
