Motor City Electric Electrical Engineer in Detroit, Michigan
Hiring an Electrical Engineer position based in Detroit. Will be responsible to prepare load studies, transformer sizing, lighting & UPS load/battery calculations; perform cable & conduit sizing; prepare single line diagrams, lighting layouts, and cable routing and duct bank layouts using Computer-Aided Design (CAD); review and analyze design and layouts of ancillary systems including telephone, UPS, fire alarm and general power distribution; produce cable tray and conduit routing layout drawings, detail drawings and as-built drawings, scheduling take off/bill of quantities/material take offs; coordinate architectural, civil, structural, electrical and mechanical designs; and develop schematic and detailed level models, and identify conflicts, incomplete or ambiguous design information.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or its foreign educational equivalent.
