We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a talented Architect for Project Manager role in our Detroit, Michigan office. This position is perfect for an up-and-coming Architectural leader looking to expand their knowledge, exercise their creativity and grow into a larger role. Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform architectural and design assignments of a complex nature, applying thoughtful architectural design concepts and advanced professional knowledge.
Establish design direction and manage development of technical drawings and specifications.
Establish and manage overall project schedule and budget, with responsibility for quality control.
Conduct Programming and Planning studies.
Conduct code reviews and compliance analysis.
Coordinate client contact and maintain working relationship at all levels throughout the project.
Assist in business development and proposal preparation.
Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, and project documentation.
Travel to jobsites, primarily in the Midwest with occasional overnight stays. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with 10 or more years relevant work experience
Must be a registered Architect.
Judicial, Municipal, Educational, Transit, Aviation, and/or Federal Project experience is preferred.
Experience in a variety of project types, scale, and complexity; following project from conception through completion.
Experience working on concurrent projects, collaborating with multiple design disciplines, and technical production project experience.
Proficiency in REVIT is preferred.
Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
