The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of a customer-focused strategy for communication with both DNV clients and internal staff in an effective and efficient manner through consultative, educational and direct support.  The candidate must be a self-starter and problem solver, able to work independently, able to multi-task and proactively manage their workload.  A high level of verbal and written communication is compulsory.  The candidate must have the ability to manage customer issues and coordinate with others to continually improve our accreditation programs.

The primary function of the  Regulatory Affairs Specialist I is to perform the accreditation process and carry out the scope of accreditation and certification work in accordance with the guidelines, principles and written instructions established by DNV Healthcare. This position will ideally be located in our US offices, to include Cincinnati,San Diego, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, Medford, Austin, Houston, Columbus, Detroit, Austin, Dallas with flexible work arrangements

What You'll Do: Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the quality requirements of the activity, the instructions of the Director of Regulatory Affairs or designee, and the procedures governing the activity Responsible for ongoing compliance with DNV procedures related to Accreditation and Certification Plan and execute regulatory affairs work, both pre-survey and post-survey, within agreed timescales Inform DNV HC management if the work cannot be performed within the agreed timeframe, or in accordance with agreed requirements Ensure the independent nature of the accreditation requirements are not compromised at any time As assigned, assist with tasks and responsibilities of the roles of Regulatory Specialists - including pre-survey or post survey activities Cross train with all members of the Regulatory Team for ad hoc coverage of department including but not limited to responsibility for pre-survey and post survey activities. Directs communications and provides support to DNV clients, under the direction of the Director of Regulatory Affairs, related to accreditation and certification services Other duties assigned by appropriate management

 

Position Qualifications

 

What is Required: Bachelor's degree in related field or in lieu of degree a minimum of 2 years of experience in business process and support. Must have, or develop within three months, appropriate skills in DNV production systems and software, Oracle, Excel, Outlook, and other related software necessary to manage the required accreditation scope of work. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint functionalities, and other related software necessary to manage the required Accreditation scope of work.
