The Cedars of Dexter-Brio Living Services Per Diem, Housekeeper in Dexter, Michigan
Job Summary: The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with our mission statement, current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Community Manager and/or the Maintenance Manager, to assure that our clubhouse and resident homes are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. All duties will be performed with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, volunteers, visitors, and other service professionals.
Duties will include: Housekeeping team performs basic day-to-day housekeeping functions in resident cottages on a weekly rotation, utilizing proper time management; clean furnishings/fixtures, windows, floors in clubhouse areas, keep janitorial areas clean and organized.
Skills and Knowledge • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language and follow written and oral instructions. • Demonstrates respect, sensitivity and flexibility. • Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with older adults, personnel, and support organizations
