Weyerhaeuser Electrician - Dodson, LA in Dodson, Louisiana
The Dodson, LA dimensional lumber manufacturing facility is looking for skilled industrial electricians with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment, processes, and techniques to repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment. Knowledge and experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding is a plus. Applicants must be able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, holidays as needed.
Starting pay will range from $24.36 - $39.57 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least two (2) years industrial electrical/process control experience and/or an electrical degree
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
- Must have basic computer skills
- Able to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Must be at least age 18
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, & physical
- Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment
- Must have demonstrated leadership and team skills
- Ability to write legibly and communicate as necessary to accomplish tasks
- Able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb steps and ladders, work from height, work in small and restricted areas, and stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours
- PLC experience is a plus
